We’re almost there, Cherubs families!
Our Seattle campus is buzzing with activity as crews put the finishing touches on classrooms, play areas, and learning spaces that will soon welcome your little ones. Every day, it looks more and more like the joyful, nurturing environment we’ve all been dreaming of.

✨ What’s Happening on Site

Right now—and over the next several weeks—the inside of the building is truly coming alive. Here’s what our construction partners at BMDC have on deck:

• 💡 Electrical: Overhead classroom lighting and final electrical trim are being installed so every space is bright, safe, and ready for learning.

• 🌬️ HVAC: Crews are finishing DOAS ductwork and rooftop units and will be hanging the owner-supplied kitchen hoods. This keeps classrooms comfortable and our kitchen running efficiently.

• 🪵 Millwork & Casework: Interior doors, reception desk, countertops, and other woodwork are going in, giving the lobby and classrooms their finished look.

• 🚰 Plumbing: Plumbing trim—like faucets, fixtures, and bottle-filling stations—is being installed in classrooms and restrooms.

• 🧱 Ceilings & Floors: Ceiling tiles are being set, rubber base and flooring are being completed, and spaces are getting their final coat of paint.

• 👩‍🍳 Kitchen: Kitchen equipment delivery and installation are scheduled, bringing us one big step closer to serving daily snacks and meals.

• ✅ Inspections: Mechanical, electrical, and plumbing inspections are lined up to confirm that all systems are safe and ready to go.

🗓️ What’s Next

According to BMDC’s latest three-week look-ahead schedule (through November 27), we remain on track:

• Mid–Late November: Final lighting, ceiling tile, flooring, rubber base, and paint, plus plumbing and electrical trim.

• Late November: Kitchen equipment and bathroom hardware installation, punch-list items, and remaining MEP inspections.

• Early December: City sign-offs, DCYF licensing visits, and staff move-in and classroom setup.

• 🎉 January 2026: Grand Opening for Families! Tours, classroom visits, and welcome activities for children and caregivers.

Every beam, color, and classroom corner has been chosen with your children in mind — places to explore, create, and belong. Our Seattle campus brings together the heart of Montessori, Reggio Emilia, and Te Whāriki — a blend that supports curiosity, confidence, and connection.
